The Puerto Rico Global Initiative is a Council program that will promote awareness of the following global issues that are reshaping 21st century global political economic affairs and, their impact to Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico presents itself with an immense opportunity to become the Region leader in each and one these areas. Strategically located in between two Continents with access to trade routes to Europe across the Atlantic and to Asia via the Panama Canal; also by having direct access to the US marketplace the time has come to engage this competitive advantage comprehensively. The Council is committed to promote and support this via the Puerto Rico Global Initiative program.
